From the early beginning, the owners of Vivo Dancesport Center had the goal of introducing the beauty, grace and style that truly represents “Dancesport” to their students. Starting in England, at very young ages, Alan Dixon, a former 3 times United Kingdom Ten Dance Champion and Stuart Cole, five times United States finalist and representative to the World Championships, have more than fifty years of dance experience between them. It is this depth of knowledge, experience and love of “Dancesport” that they wanted to share with others; eventually leading them in the same direction, to open Vivo Dancesport Center.
Being within easy freeway reach of three counties, Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino, it has been the goal to serve the surrounding communities with the best that “Dancesport” can offer. With that goal in mind, everything was planned accordingly; from the full, competition-sized, Canadian maple dance floors, to the quality and continual education and examination of our instructors. At Vivo, there are at least 35 group classes per week, to fit all schedules, all levels and styles and therefore provide the perfect supplement to your private lessons. Another extremely important part of the students’ development is their practice parties, which are run on a daily basis and therefore allow the students to choose the most convenient schedule. We all know that “Practice makes Perfect!” and the parties give students an excellent chance to socialize and hone their skills at the same time.
